Think Ahead to Valelntine's Day! Start the month of February off with a Valentine Box. My mother thought of everything to make each holiday magical at our house.
She designed a special valentine box for my brothers and sisters who weren't old enough to attend school and so missed out on the exchanging of Valentines. We all loved the tradition so much it remains in our families today!
Take a shoe box or a box of your choosing. Cover it with red or pink wrapping paper or you could also use foil. Then cut a hole in the top to drop Valentines and little gift packages in. Also decorate the box with hearts, paper doilies, stickers,etc...whatever you have on hand.
Make a valentine for each of your family members and don't forget to put a little surprise in each. You can also put in little boxes of candy (try our Bellas Confections Fudge in our gourmet fudge shop. The fudge is delicious and comes in a fancy tin.)
You could put a small toy , heart necklace, small notepad etc... packaged nicely for each member of your family. Encourage each member of the family to create a Valentine for everyone. Then after a festive supper on Valentine's Day, open the box and share the love!
