For Dad's Day give a Santa at Play! Did you check out the new fun Santa at Play Santa series? You could give your Dad or husband a "Play Ball" featuring Santa sporting an old time baseball uniform.
Add a couple of tickets to a local baseball game scheduled in your area, a baseball cap from his favorite college or pro baseball team, or a t-shirt with his favorite baseball team. If you like, you could give him a couple of old movies with baseball as the theme.
If you choose the Touchdown Santa, give him season tickets to your local college team football games complete with fold up stadium seats, and a light blanket. Or once again you could go for a couple of football DVD's with popcorn, his favorite treats, cushy slippers, nice bath robe, and some soda in a festive container. Some fun college or pro sports attire would be nice to give your dad along with the Santa.
Tee Time Santa would be fun to give along with a gift card to your local golf shop for a bucket of balls to practice on the driving range. There is an array of golf gear that you can purchase from a nearby sports store to help the avid golfer improve his swing. Not to mention, golf shoes, towel, tees, golf balls, water bottle etc...or just a coupon for a round of golf.
Camping Santa conjures up all kinds of camping gear that you could give your dad if you choose to give him this Santa. What about a homemade coupon inviting him to a backyard barbecue? Set up camping chairs in a circle around a backyard fire pit or a tent complete with tables and chairs inside for a fun fancy dinner inside the tent in his honor. Don't forget the candles on the table. Another idea for Dad would be for you to write down your memories of camping with your dad complete with photos that you or a member of your family have taken on campouts that you can compile in a journal or photo album to give him. Guranteed to make him smile!
Last but certainly not least! The Fly Fisherman Santa would be fun to give any Dad that loves to fish! You can also give him some fishing gear. Purchase a fishing basket and fill it with goodies that he would enjoy. You could also put in some fish bait, lures, gummy worms, etc... anything he could use while fishing. Add things like a rain poncho, new fishing hat, flashlight, compass, etc...
Give your Dad or husband one or all of these Santas and a note telling him why they remind you of him. Add some fun, creative items hand picked by you to give him along with the Santa and Father's Day will not only delight you loved ones but you will enjoy it too!
